From the "behind you, asshole" to the extreme violence in Resident Evil 4 Remake, it's hard not to get excited about these 6 details of the demo

A few weeks after its official launch, Capcom has released a demo of Resident Evil 4 Remake with very interesting details.

If you are up to date with the news of the video game, and if you are not, get ready for this joy! We can already enjoy a demo of Resident Evil 4 Remake just a few weeks before its official launch of this highly anticipated action and horror game. As a good follower of the adventures of Leon, Ashley and Luis in "Spain", if I recently brought you some curiosities from the latest Resident Evil 4 Remake trailer, now I did not want to miss th opportunity to bring you 6 details of the demo that I They have seemed spectacular and have left me wanting to see more.

6 details of the Resident Evil 4 Remake Chainsaw demo that surprised us

1.- Much more brutal

I think we will agree that, of all the installments in the Resident Evil saga, Resident Evil 4 was not the most terrifying. However, with just 20 minutes of demo, we can already see how the settings have been redesigned to be much more intimidating, -as well as the lighting-, with the aim of taking the occasional substitute while we go after Sadler.

Now the houses of the villagers look like real places of worship and shamanic rites and they don't invite you to explore and look for pesetas as much as in the original installment. In that sense, it's more like the village from Resident Evil Village.

2.- A wonderful dubbing

At least in Spain, the voices of the original game are video game culture. Phrases like "to live is to die" are on everyone's mind. However, we had never enjoyed the game as such in our language.

Now it has arrived completely translated and the great work of all the dubbing actors is to be praised. Resident Evil 4 Remake is spectacular in that sense and we have no doubt that we are going to enjoy it a lot. Will Ashley's voice and her screams be as gruesome as in the original? There is little left to see it!

3.- He has said it!

This detail deserves a whole section because, if I was talking about epic phrases before, I think absolutely no one is unaware of the famous "Behind you, imbesile." It is one of those things that Spain had little of, but that we were all very fond of. With the remake, I don't think anyone expected to hear it again until...they say it! And not once as a wink, but several.

Other phrases such as "An outsider" are also maintained, denoting that Capcom has wanted to maintain all the original essence. My favorite detail without a doubt!

4.- The essence of always

Going a little deeper into the aspect of the essence, it is perceived from the first moment in which we enter the game that we are facing that adventure that we like so much. Yes, there are going to be changes, but what we have no doubt about is that the first bars of the game are a gift for all those fans who have been waiting for this return for so long.

For example, from the position of the traps, the cow inside the barn, the same escape routes, the phrases of the villagers, Leon's own... All this allows us to see that there is an active effort not to lose the essence very important.

5.- A small refreshment

In the same way, a remake that does not change anything would not make much sense. In addition to the obvious graphical and visual improvement, now some additional scenes have been added, some routes have been redesigned or, for example, the inventory has undergone a small modification to be much easier and faster to use.

This last detail I thought was great, since I remember spending time in the original installment sorting the inventory and trying to combine herbs. Anything that is to give the game a faster and more frenetic gameplay is welcome.

6.- The Spanish villagers

And what about those dear little grandparents from the town who await us with open arms to offer us a stew? Well then, run away from them. A detail that I found very cool, (especially for the issue of creating a more terrifying atmosphere), is that the villagers are no longer perceived as puppets. During this demo we have been able to hear them speak with much more property, with longer and more meaningful sentences like "Where has he gotten to?" or even make references to his devotion to Sadler. Those infected by Las Plagas are, curiously, more human than ever and that makes them more intimidating.

When does Resident Evil 4 Remake come out?

If you liked these details and now you are even more eager for the game to arrive, you no longer have to wait long. The Resident Evil 4 Remake release date is March 24, arriving for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and S, and PC.
